BASIL CASSIDY

TELL CITY, Jan. 29. 1937

Basil Cassidy, 23, died at the Barnes hospital in St. Louis Tuesday following a third brain, operation.  He is the son of Mark Cassidy, Perry county assessor, and Mrs. Cassidy.

Surviving beside the parents is one sister. Mrs. Naomi of Tell City, and two brothers, Leonard and Russell, at home.

The body was brought to the home of Sam Anderson in this city Wednesday night where funeral services were held this afternoon. Continued services were held at the Evangelical church in this city with the Rev. G. C. Whitely of the Baptist church in charge. Burial was in Greenwood cemetery.

MRS. BERTHA ZIEGELGRUBER

TELL CITY, Jan. 29. 1937

Mrs. Bertha Ziegelgruber, 78, died at Parkview hospital Wednesday morning of a heart attack. She had been moved from her home Monday due to flood waters and taken to the hospital.

Surviving are the husband, Louis, Jr. two sons, George and Louis, Jr., and one daughter. Miss Lena Ziegelgruber, all of Tell City;  five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services were held this afternoon at the residence of Mr. and  Mrs. Henry Schauberger with the Rev. H. H. Peters in charge.   Burial was in Greenwood cemetery.
ROBERT P. MUELLER

Robert P. Mueller. 24. of Tell City, a member of First Cavalry, mechanized, at Fort Knox. Ky.. was killed in an automobile accident Friday while flood relief duty In Louisville, Ky.. according to word received by relatives here yesterday. Details of the accident were not given.

Surviving Mr. Mueller are his father. John Mueller of Troy Ave, sisters, Mrs. Edwin Aleon of Evansville. Mrs. Chester Little of Tell City, Mrs. Rus H. Edwards of Leopold, Mrs. Emil Heller of Chicago, and Miss Catherine Mueller of Anderson and four brothers. John. Jr.. of Evansville, George of Newtonville and Jacob and Frank of Tell City.

The body will be brought to Troy for funeral services and burial at a time yet to be decided.

Death Claims Relief Worker
Tell City, Feb 4 (Special)- Harold Benjamin Smith, member of the CCC camp here died in the Parkview hospital at 3:30 o’ clock this morning of pneumonia. The body will be sent to his home in West Fork, where his mother. Mrs. Lula Smith. a brother and three sisters live. The dead youth was indirectly a victim of the Ohio river flood. With other members of the camp he took part in the relief and rescue work and contracted pneumonia while engaged in that work.
