Obituary

Richard A. Esarey was born August 4, 1890, 32 years ago in Bristow, Ind. He spent his boyhood in Kansas and Oklahoma and came to Wyoming 13 years ago and was engaged in the sheepraising business with Lewis Barker, until he entered the service during the world war. He was an overseas veteran. After being discharged he again entered into the sheep business with Mr. Barker and continued in that business until this fall when he took charge of the Home Hotel.

He was married to Edith Snell February 8, 1919 and made his home in Casper since that time.

He was a member of the Casper Lodge No. 23 I.O.O.F.

He leaves his wife, Edith Esarey and two children, Verna and Larry, his mother, Mrs. George Smith living in Pennsylvania, two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Swak living in Oklahoma and Mrs. Carrol Fuller living in Casper.

Esarey Funeral Today

The funeral of Richard Esarey will be held at 2:30 o’clock this afternoon from the Shaffer-Gay chapel, with the Rev. C. M. Thompson in charge. Members of the I.O.O.F. lodge will act as pall bearers. The burial will be in Highland Cemetery.
