ROSEMARY ELIZABETH SAALMAN  daughter of Dr James Elmer Saalman and Elsie C. Stoup was born December 12, 1911 in Indianapolis, Indiana, and died August 30, 2005 in Outlook Manor at Westerville.  She married GLENWOOD D. “PETE” WEIDEMAIER July 11, 1939 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny, Pennsylvania.  He died June 27, 1999.

She was about 4 years of age when her father Dr Saalman died and was buried in the Walker cemetery at Branchville.  Census shows she and her mother returning to Freeport, Armstrong, Pennsylvania to the home of her mothers parents, Thomas F Stoup and Mary Ellen Easley.  As of this time I have not located the grave of her mother.

Rosemary S. Weidemaier, age 93, of Upper Arlington, died Wednesday, August 24, 2005 at Outlook Manor at Westerville. She was a longtime member of St. Andrew Catholic Church and more recently a member of St. Agatha Catholic Church. She retired from St. Andrew School, where she taught 3rd grade. Her husband of 59 years, Glenwood ”Pete” Weidemaier, precedes her in death. She is survived by her son, Mark P. Weidemaier; brother-in-law, William G. (Marge) Weidemaier; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Dr. Alfred Bachman, Joy McCuen, John and Yvette Massey, Pat Mayo, Judy Ottney, and David Williams. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, August 29, 2005 at St. Agatha Catholic Church, 1860 Northam Road with Private inurnment at Kingwood Memorial Park. Arrangements by SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Road.
